Beautiful photo of this butterfly with
fine POV and framing, beautiful soft light, TFS

Hello Josep Ignasi,
Although the wings are not in total sharpness, this is a very nice photo. Beautiful colours against the blurry background and a fine composition.

Ahhh Josep, then this is another for your grand collection. I see nothing I would add except I have none of this species in my collection so have to rely on good eyes and good cameras such as yours yes?

I am surprised to see that this butterfly has been identified as A. agestis. The distribution of black spots on the hind wing, combined with the brown tint of the background, actually identify this specimen as a female Polyommatus icarus. This has been discussed previously on TN, but I am conscious of the fact that Internet users may use TN postings as an identification guide so I think we should try to be accurate.
I think the plane of focus may be a little off the butterfly (I prefer to use manual focus combined with depth of field preview for close-up work), but this is an attractive image.
Best wishes, Nigel.
