Rosa canina is a deciduous shrub up to 5 m, the leaves are pinnate with 5-7 leaflets, the flower are pink or pale pink, they are 5-6 cm diameter. Is a species of rose native to Europe and NW Africa.

This photo is taken in Bovera (L), les Garrigues, Catalonia.
