Ocupa toda la cuenca Mediterránea Occidental, pero esta subespecie en concreto (euphenoides) , a veces tratada como una especie distinta, ocupa la Península Ibérica y el sur de Francia. Su oruga vive sobre Biscutella.

Hi Ignasi!

The colours of this picture are marvellous: the purple red suits the yellow very well and together the create an amazing duality: they are joyful and pastel like at the same time. On the other hand, I have some doubts about the sharpness, but I'm not sitting at my personal computer now. Anyway, the picture is very pleasant and well composed.

Hi Ignasi,
Wonderful shot of this tiny but beautiful butterfly with lovely colours and markings on its wings. Nice pose captured with a fine DOF and a well chosen POV. The muted lighting works well here and I like the blurred BG. Very nicely composed. Kudos.
