[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
For working reasons and many hours in the mountain I haven’t been able to upload pictures since months ago.
I can make an effort today to upload a picture and I would like to dedicate it to all the members of TN and, moreover, to all the good friends, especially to Hernan Eenesto Bortondello, who was worried because of my uploading missing. I’ve been thinking about the picture to upload because usually I upload photography that they aren’t from my especiallity, that’s botanic, and my botanic pictures are more beautiful that my animal pictures for sure.
I’ve decided to upload a viper, Vipera latasti, who was resting on the Sun among the oak’s leaves in a Quercus pyrenaica’s forest, in the mountains of Predes, in the middle of Catalonia...I was almost above it, uf! After half an hour waiting it got used at me to know I wasn’t an enemy, I could take the picture at the minimum distance from the macro 0,48 cm. Intense moment, these moments that can’t be explained and that make a picture so especial for the author. I will try to write some commentary although I’m very busy.

Luis.

Excel.len captura Ferran.
Salutacions: Josep Ignasi.

Hi Ferran,

It's so good to see a post from you! This Viper in a bed of leaves is wonderful. It was well worth the time and effort you put into getting this shot. Wonderful natural colors and details of his face, eye and skin. I love his coiled position.

Hi Ferran,
A good shot of this Viper in quite a challenging situation.
The dappled sunlight would have made the exposure tricky.
A good result though.
TFS & Cheers

Hi Ferran,
when i was small i used to see some of the vipers. nowadays there is no more in my place of birth. It is quite interesting to note what you have captured here.
Great colours and nice camouflage still intact.
well presented in itsnatural surrounding.

Bonjour Ferran
Belle présentation et intéressant cadrage.Les détails et les couleurs sont supers.
Bonne journée et bravo....JP.

Hola ferran,
Welcome back from your field work!
A superb capture of this Vipera latasti, taken from an excellent POV to show the whole viper with excellent shapness and colours while coiled up in the dead oak leaves.
Nice to see a species that is probably new on TN and I thank you for that!
Best regards,

Sangre fría y pasión!!! jajajaja Contratulations, my friend!!!
Chau, amigo.

Hi Ferran,
I have done a few close ups of snakes myself and I know that feeling one gets in the gut.Well captured and nicely framed of this viper in its natural surrounds.Great detail and soft patterns on the snake.Well done.
