This toad was crossing the road in the dark evening. I just stopped to take some shots and put it back on the side of the road. special to see it midth of november.

This is probably the Iberian spadefoot toad(Pelobates cultripes,). German: Messerfuss.
A species that lives exclusively in Spain.

Bonjour Pierre,
l'image de l'animal est très réussi, t'as pris la peine de t'agenouiller et de faire un "tête à tête". Tu avais utilisé un flash (reflex dans l'oeil). Chapeau!
A mon opinion il ne s'agit pas d'un crapaud, mais de Discoglossus galganoi, un discoglosside connu seulement de l' Espagne. Signes: la paupière a la forme d'une goutte; on ne voit pas de tympan; il existe une bande à glandes depuis l'oeil jusqu'à lépaule. Ce qui dérange: il y a un raccourci téléscopique du corps, le museau semble trapu; la femelle doit être plein d'oeufs; il manque un triangle entre les yeux et la pointe du museau. Mais la variation dans la coloration semble énorme vu les images sur internet.
