Abelharuco, European bee-eater, (Merops apiaster)

Hello TN Friends!

Long time I did not come here to see your work and also to share my photos. For questions of health and also because I did not had the opportunity and the will to go out ...
Finally came this session, again in Spain with the same team.
The weather did not have helped but the sun came out for periods. I planned to photograph the bee eaters the Blue Rock Thrush and the Vultures.

Today I post this bee eater in action...

At this time they are choosing nests and partners...

Have a good weekend and thanks for viewing!

Hello Jose,
Outstanding capture of this bee-eater about ready to have lunch. Tac sharp focus throughout entire frame and displaying rich yet natural colors. Exposure is excellent and I like the clean blurred BG.

Welcome back, Jose! Hope you are well enough to stay with us! This website is in need of more good contributors!

An amazing capture of a Bee Eater capturing a bee.... Outstanding!

Have a pleasant weekend,

hallo Jose
great sharpness picture with good details and beautiful colours
thanks gr lou

Hello Jose,
Nice to see this bee eater! Perfect timing. Once I captured a Sunbird flying and trying to catch a Bee in KNP. So I know the timing is very important here.
Thanks and have a nice WE,

What a moment to capture, Jose! The Bee Eater has tossed the Bee into the air and you have frozen that action to perfection.
A very sharp, crisp and colourful image. Professionalism at its best.
You have come back after a long gap. Keep posting, dear friend.

Excellent photo! Sharpness awesome! Congratulations!
