Abutre-preto, Cinereous vulture (Aegypius monachus)

Hello Friends

Today I present this Black Vulture also known as Cinereous Vulture.
Is the biggest bird in the Iberic Peninsula with a fantastic 3 meters wingspan. As I said in previous posts it's not easy to isolate one individual from the crowd, more difficult when they have this pose attack.
Picture taken from a hide.

More info about the species:

Have good weekend and thanks for viewing.

Hello Jose,
Amazing and interesting attack pose...Great capture of a superb bird.

Hi José,
Beautiful shot, a real stunner - what a composition! Dynamic (as the vulture just begins to attack) and harmonic at the same time. Needless to mention perfect sharpness - and I love your white balance here! A masterpiece. Bravo!
Kind regards from Ireland, László

Hello Jose,
What a neat pose and the detail is second to none. Love the intense gaze it has on its face with great eye contact. The low POV makes you feel like you are right down there beside it. Nice warm color tones.

Hello Jose,
Excellent low level POV with stunning pose of the Vulture. As usual good details and beautiful light.
Thanks for sharing,
