The Iberian Marbled White (Melanargia lachesis) is a butterfly species belonging to the family Nymphalidae. It can be found on the Iberian Peninsula and the south of France.

The length of the forewings is 25–28 mm. The butterflies fly in one generation from June to August.

The larvae feed on various grasses.

good clarity, but exposure needed to be modified a bit... seems harsh sunlight was there.

Hola José Luis, esta es la gran melanargia, grande ella, esta pose es típica en ella, tiene gran foco la foto. La luz es un poco dura, pero eso a veces y sobre todo con la cámara que la tomaste es casi imposible de sacar mejor, sobre todo por los blancos a pleno sol. Se aprecia muy bien el dibujo y detalles. Enhorabuena y un cordial saludo.
