[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I already posted this mushroom several times n TN with plenty of info, but it is the most "funky" specie I have seen here, so forgive me and allow one more approach.

New Zealand fungui photograpers like Steve (LordPotty), are tired of posting colourful species, including blue ones, but to come across deep violet colored mushroom here is quite exciting.

They are emerging Cortinarius violaceus.

Original format, slightly desaturated, framed, resized and sharpened.

Hope you like!

Hi Felipe,
I never get tired of posting coloured fungi, or seeing them.
You have posted lots of beautiful coloured fungi from Spain over the years.
This is a great little group of C.violaceus.
I found a great group of these this year, but could not decide on the correct name. Clives ID guide differs a bit from the 'official' one (Landcare Research)
I'll post my ones for you this evening.
I'll also add a smiley when I have one :)
Cheers
Steve

Hola Felipe,
Buen trabajo, Saludos / Gracias,
Jesús

Hi Felipe.
I am interesting for size of these mushrooms considering the size of moss. Superb DOF. Moss ocean is really looked amazing as well as wonderful specimen of the mushroom among moss. Great lights and colours too. Well done and TS.
Alexei.

Hi Felipe & Cristina,

Hi Felipe

So nice to see you posting here again, I miss your fungi shots.
This is wonderful, such a beautiful composition, the contrast between the green and deep violet is amazing. Excellent sharpness, colour and POV too.

Chris

Hola Felipe

Saludos.

amazing capture, TFS Ori

Hallo Felipe
Another beautiful fungus shared with us. This Cortinarius violaceus's markings on the hood with the rough texture pleasantly visible. The green moss in which it is growing creates a natural effect and supply a natural frame around the fungus. I like the composition. If you did not mention the colour violet in your notes I would have presumed that it was black. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.
