[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [Spanish]
Chameleons (Chamaeleonidae, chamai Greek, 'on earth', 'on the ground' and the Latin leo 'lion', 'lion of land') are a family of small saurópsidos (reptiles) scaly. There are about 161 species of chameleons, most of them in sub-Saharan Africa. America is often called chameleon lizards of the family of the anoles, which hold no special relationship with the true chameleons.

They are famous for their ability to change color depending on the circumstances, for his quick tongue and elongated, and their eyes, which can be moved independently of each other.
