A very nice capture of this little howfinch in a very difficult light and position,you work very very well,excellent details,colors and composition.Have a nice day and thanks,Luciano

If you can get a closer shot, this would be an improvement - the point is to see more of the bird. You can try to use the dodge tool in your post processing software to lighten the area around the eye a little to make it more visible.

I like your composition in the portrait format with the finch perfectly placed in the frame,showing not only the bird but also its environment.
