[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
Early summer moring in L'Albulifera swamps. A very good time to watch hundreds of birds getting busy with their morning things. But not only them. Hidden on the tall reeds are lots of flying insects waiting for the warmth of the sun, before they take off all day long. A good moment to aproach and (photo)shot this amazing creatures.
I don't know the species, since I'm not familiar with Western Mediteranean wildlife. Maybe somebody can help me.
And there is an ID for this dragonfly: Sympeterum fonscolombii. Thanks Argus.
Cheers, Petru |

Hi petrudamsa.
This is a well taken capture of the dragonfly. The lateral pov exhibits excellent details along the body. Fabulous intricate wings and thanks for sharing.
Kind regards,
Jusni

Hello Petru,
A fine capture of a female Sympeterum fonscolombii taken from a good lateral POV toshow her features with fine sharpness and colours.
The blue lower half of the eye helps to get the right ID.
Thanks and kind regards,
Ivan

Hello Petru,
Very nice sharp detailed photo. It all looks fragile in these soft colours, beautiful. Taken from a good POV.
Regards,
Peter
Salutare Petru!
Fine shot, nice lightness and brightness, very nice colours. Good cut. Very good sharpness.
Superb macro, splendid effect. Good note.
Well done!
Hi Petru,
most pleasantly gentle mood in this well composed image. The insect is in perfect focus, and even the stretched wings are sufficiently well in focus even from this difficult point of view. The combination of uniform grey, some strokes of bright green and the very fine and subtle iridescent colours of the dragonfly are adding a distinctly artistic feature to the image. Thank you!
With best regards,
Peter
