Occurrence on wood substrate: Saprobic; in clusters on dead deciduous wood such as twigs and moss-covered logs and stumps; May thought October.

Beautiful macro work, Felipe. I think the real brilliance of the shot is the POV. Good job with the DoF, too, to give the bg just the right level of blur.
Mike

Fine fungi image Felipe and Cristina.

Beautiful, Felipe! They look like tiny parachutes! Excellent DOF.

Hola,
Pero vaya manera de devolver la dedicatoria!
Mejor imposible!
JM

Hi Felipe and Cristina

Wow.... I know how difficult it is to photograph these tiny fungi. I recently tried while on holiday in the South Island. Mine sure don't look this good. Congrats! :-)

Hello Felipe
Wonderful picture or these tiny fungi, they look so delicate.Great composition and POV.LOvely sharp detail,DOT and nice BG
Anita

Thank you my friend.

Indeed it is a little beauty. I'm jealous that your Sony can take such amazingly detailed shots. That lens is much better than the one on my Canon S2 (as I've said before) especially in the low light conditions of the forest floor.

Fantastic depth, texture and sharpness with great light. Beautiful composition.

Anyway, I've finally saved up enough to go buy a DSLR this week and maybe a macro lens too. Then I to find time to get out and use it :).

Cheers
Chris

Hello,
Beautiful image. Well composed. I like the overall sharpness, the natural light, the details in the fungi and the blurred background.

Ola Felipe
I love this image, looks like cute little umbrellas. Beautiful and nicely saturated color of the background, which contrasted very well with the little white creamy mushrooms. Wonder detail with great sharpness and clarity. Well managed and balanced color and light. Great shot, enjoyed it much.
