[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Some more experiments to learn how to use my camera in manual mode.
This one was taken at about 7 o'clock in the evening at low tide.
I have been taking fotos till it was almost dark (see next posts) with velocities from 3 to 5 sec.
The problem is that it's no fun walking on this slippery rocks in the darkness and with a tripoder in one hand and the camera in the other ;-)
I was afraid I might fall and damage my equipment,


In photoshop I added a bit of blue filter.

I also want to thank everybody for the nice comments on my previous post, wich I didn't answer as i was not on the net for a few weeks.

Hi Karin,
your note did make me chuckle to myself, i know all too well what it's like trying to navigate a rocky shoreline in the dark - not easy!!
i do like your composition here alot, you have used the shape of the pool of water in FG to draw the eye in to the rest of the scene, creating a nice 'pathway' for the eye to follow. I think the blue filter is effective and creates a certain ambience. I would also like to see this scene without it though. Very nice to see another seascape on TN!

Good shot well-composed of this beautiful seascape. Good POV, DOF and sharpness. You said you added blue filter. Is it possible to post the original in the WS?

Hallo Karin,

Mooie compositie met laag pov, hou persoonlijk niet van dat al te blauwe maar dat is niet belangrijk als je het zelf maar mooi vind, jij bent per sot van rekening de fotograaf.
Lijkt me inderdaad geen pretje zo te lopen in het donker maar het was de moeite waard.
