[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
In interior zones of Spain, there are quite big lands where wheat and other cereals and vegetables are grown.
Here the land is plane, and landscape becomes very wide, dry and arid most of the time. When the lands are cultivated and water is extracted from deep wells in huge quantities, the green landscapes return.
But sometimes, after the grain or vegetables are collected, or the land has not been cultivated, nature gives us a wonderful present.
Millions of intense red poppies (papavers) rush to get advantage from the artificial conditions created by the humans and cover incredible portions of land.
I have to drive sometimes across this natural beauty and cant avoid to get out of the highway and seat for a white in the middle of them.
Although thís sensation can not be described in a photo and through internet, I looked for one wich could explain in someway this, in my opinion, amazing event.
I know this huge image, suffers from big jpg compression, I think this time the most important is the size to transmit my feeling. Maybe the jpg adds an impressionist point :)

Here you can find a photo in TE of some poppies in hard competition with the wheat cultives.

As always, hope you like!

PP slightly level adjust.

Wow! Very impressed. I've seen fields of poppies but this has to be the most intense. I like it Felipe. Well done.

Beautiful composition - so much red it's amazing.

The perfect iconic field of poppies, I know a lot of competion photographers who would kill to get this shot you have nailed so well here, one tiny nit, the one poppy front and centre is not quiet as sharp and leads the eye a bit.but its not too serious.
PS the othe one on TE I like better the red against the green wheat.

great red landscape Felipe. very impressed. well done.

Bij us the are called klaprozen.
It is really a great view with all those red roses. Very good photo and special in the LP version very good job Felipe.

Yes, definitely WOW. The large format is impressive. I do get the idea that you'd like to portray. Wonderfull stuff. Thanx for sharing.

Felipe, Like the first version best. I've noticed that in digital photography the reds can sometimes be a problem as is evident in the large format. They can get too red, again, as is evident in the large format. The jpeg compression is another issue,as you stated in your note. Still a nice photo of your sea of red! (revised).

Very nice Felipe.
Coloursful ans nice composition of the sea of red.
Well done.

Filipe
This is a stunning vista, love it and would like to see it too!
What you shoud try to do is get one of these flowers right near the right or left bottom corner, focus on it at a wide aperture, and use a wide angle. It makes wonderful landscapes, The centre flower in your picture nearly does it. Just a comment to try next time.

Very fine capture - which remind of some similar shots I tried this summer - I like the fine natural colours and great sharpness - very fine work indeed.

I want to lie in it.. go to sleep in it.. it is SO BEAUTIFULL.

I like the POV, looks like you are hiding between the flowers

Very nice !!

Felipe, maravilhosa fotografia. Gosto muito do POV e, obviamente, das cores vívidas.

Parabéns por mais essa foto.

Beautiful image, I love those red poppies against the green. Well seen!

Alli

Stunning image! The colours and POV and sharpness are all fantastic! Wonderful! And like you, I love poppy fields and if ever I see them I can't help but take photos - it's just rare to see them around here unfortunately. Hopefully next summer I'll see more, thanks for your post and bringing me to this image!

Hi Felipe!
Wow! That expression of color too! Beautiful shot and frame! Great work! TFS ;-)
best regards
Dorota
