Hola Felipe,

Felicidades.
Un saludo de Antonio

Hi Felipe,
You asked me for something like unknotting the gordian knot. :) Identifying Psathyrellas only from photo is sometimes even more difficult. :) But I tried my best, so here it is:
Psathyrella longipes (Peck) A.H. Sm. is, as far as I know, a North American species discovered by the US mycologist Charles Horton Peck in California, in 1895. I never heard it was ever detected in Europe. Being a xerotherm species (living in broadleaved forests of the southwest of US) it's quite rare in November, when You've done the photo. Instead You very probably photographed a Eurasian species growing in November / December: Psathyrella longicauda P. Karst. It has long stem (like on Your photo), even with curves (also seen). Cap has brown tone, hygrophanous, slightly margined, sometimes with remains of velum. Quite rare, it's even on the Red List in several European countries.
Both photos are excellent. What else can I say which is not a cliché? This is a symphony of fungi, fantastic capture of dancing Psathyrellas. :) Incredible sharpness, background and composition, and the chestnuts also give a special plus. Bravo amigo. Your previous photo is of course the debut of the species on TN.
Gracias por compartir, un saludo, László

Hi Felipe.
What a refined shot of the charming pair of beautiful mushrooms. POV is really amazing as well as exactness of details, attractive scenery at whole and fine soft lighting. Great job. TFS and best wishes.
Alexei.

Hello Felipe,
I love this one..it looks so funny, especially the way the two fungis in the front lean towards each-others. That must be fungi-love! I also like the vertical framing you have chosen and the fact that we can see the background well, fading slightly towards its end.
Subtle and intersting picture.
Kind regards
Anne
