this is a really nice contribution to the biology of this wheevil. Very good sharpness and details. Thank you for posting this interesting collage, just matching the intention of TrekNature. However, a note would be nice!

Un excelente documento fotográfico de esta especie de gorgojo, uno de los mejores que vi en Tn por la disposición de las imágenes y por la calidad de ellas; me gusta sogre todo la nitidez y la iluminación. Además acompañada de una buena nota.

This is a very nice series of photos well put together. Excellent exposures for most the images, the top left is a bit noisy and detracts from the rest, other than that well done. :)

Una para mis favoritas, digna de un hueco en una revista de naturaleza. Siempre me sorprende ver a estos taladros vivientes "furando" las duras bellotas y castañas como si nada, y eso que la broca parece muy delicada. El uso del flash es genial. Se valora el trabajo empleado en la composición también. Felicidades otra vez. Este fin de semana tuve ocupaciones caseras ineludibles, a ver si el próximo podemos quedar. Salu2.

Another beautiul and educational presentation, this time a compilation of 4 photos with Curculio species. Fantastic documents of feeding behaviour in case of species which is very often overlook because of its size. Bravo and I am waiting for the next one! :)
