Muy buena aproximación. Aquí hay plantas similares a ésta. Es muy bonita y parece frágil. Cuando muere quedan los tallos que sí que son frágiles.

Estupendo macro, se ve que todos estamos a las mismas joyas botánicas de nuestos campos!! Muy poco pronto este año...

Me encanta Jose... esta es una de esas imágenes que cuando uno les pega el primer golpe de vista gustan o no... para mí, es maravillosa.
El punto de vista captado brinda una perfecta escena de las dos flores y sus brotes con total claridad, nitidez y perfecto foco, gracias a la perfecta iluminación que no ha producido indeseables reflejos o sobre exposición, el exacto y ajustado DOF que ofrece un fondo ideal y los cálidos colores muy bien controlados.
Me gusta también el recorte elegido para su presentación con un plus en la segunda imagen donde nos regalas la belleza de la planta en un cuadro más amplio.

Very nice macro work. This genus grows here too and blooms normally from march to may. I see that you've taken it today, in 20th January. I think this is another result of global warming. Thanks for sharing. Tomorrow I'll go to near Uluabat Lake to see this plant that bloom or not.

Que bueno el efecto mientras se iba desplegando la imagen en mi monitor, primero los capullos cerrados de la parte de arriba, y luego la agradable sorpresa de ver las hermosas flores desplegadas en todo su esplendor.
Excelente desde todos los puntos de vista técnicos. Pero creo que la iluminación es lo que mas me gusta.

An extraordinary and unusual flower.I like its starlike shape and how its pollen stalks are so long and have their bright pollen points.A lovely composition showing both the open and closed stage.Nice and sharp and clear.I liked the short but informative note.TFS and have a great evening.

Hi Jose

I am very impressed by this lovely presentation of these simplistic yet exquisite little flowers. Not that any flower can ever really be simplistic, but I think you should know what I mean since they are not elaborate in shape, colour, or size compared to the orchids, for example. That does not remove the fact that they are absolutely beautiful in their own right.

I like the composition that forms a bit of a pyramid with the two flowers at the bottom and the new blooms at the top. The colours and details are splendid and they are well enhance by the OOF and well removed BG. The control of the available light was well managed.

Man's relationship with nature had a different dimension to it in the mythological period of our history on earth, Jose. It was a rich relationship in terms of human creativity, in my opinion. In the modern scientific age, our relationship with nature has turned clinical and objective, and hence shorn of creativity.
Coming to your picture of Asphodel, I find this picture a perfect tribute to Persephone; she would be as filled with joy as I am at this moment, looking at this beautiful picture of a flower scared to her.

I have never managed to get a decent picture of the bog asphodel (yellow flowers) so am quite envious that you have such a nice, sharp picture of this asphodel. I really like the composition, it is excellent and the control of the whites in the sun is spot on. I might have had a litte more space above the top fo the flower, but that is all I can saw that might have improved and already excellent shot.
