[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
One of the pleasant new species I found on Gotland was this Neotinea ustulata (Former: Orchis ustulata). The dark buds give it it's name burnt orchid. In fact it was a lot smaller then I expected, only about 15 cm high, but very delicate in it's beauty.

Hello Jeroen,
Nice one!
Not easy to achieve this clean BG when it is så small. In Öland we have seen those that grow in more sheltered locations reach about 25 cm.
Thanks and best regards,
Ivan

Hello Jeroen,
This is a favourite Orchid of mine, so tiny and so beautiful! We saw plenty of them on Öland last year.
Your capture is excellent, very sharp and the colours are beautiful!
Many thanks and cheers, Ulla
