Green Bottle Fly on yellow flower.
|[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note|
I took this picture on a sunny day in my garden.
I have this indigenous little bush with bright yellow flowers called, "Ílandstok" (Dasiphora fruticosa), that acts like a magnet on a big variety of flies!
I specially like to take pics of these metallic shining Green Bottle Flies(Dasyphora cyanella).
I used supermacro and cropped the picture and sharpened and saturated it with Lightroom.

Firstly WELCOME on TN.
A very nice start with this superb macro. Maybe the colours are a bit oversaturated, specially in the flower, but it all looks very beautiful. Excellent sharpness, wonderful details, taken from the best possible point of view and a good composition.
Hope to see a lot more,

Impressive close-up. Sharp, well exposed, huge DOF considering the F/stop, but you were shooting at 8,6mm focal length. Cosidering sensor size of this camera (I have the same) the magnificaion ratio is not as impressive as it shows in the web image. Anyhow, it is still an impressive image rarely seen.
You mentionned that you used the SuperMacro mode. Did you use only the fujinon lens by its self or did you use close-up auxiliary lens with it? TFS.
