Hej Peter,
Excellent capture of a male Goldeneye. This is sharp, well composed and with fine lighting and colour.
You got to within 5 meters! So far, I have not come closer than 30 meters.

what a fine capture. The drop of water on the beak is great. What I like most is the soft colours, and fine composition. The reflection makes you think the bird is actually moving. Great image!

Hi peter, This is a wonderful freeze. The choise of exposure ans SS is good, given that it was morning light.... could not have gone for more details, even if you wanted to because of the light. But that takes NOTHING away from this shot. It is excellent.

My husband has that lens and I am impressed that you were able to hand hold it with or without the extender. It is a great lens but too much for me to handle. This is a nice shot of a golden eye on a golden pond. Great sharpness and saturation.
