Hi Peter,
Excellent capture of this lapwing!
I like so much the exercise done with the DOF to get the bird in fous and quickly all the contents on the others planes are so nicely blurred.
It's very good all the details got on the bird, so clear and sharp, specially on the head and the pointing feathers.

Hi Peter,
Your Lapwing seems to have more plumage on the head than the ones we see here so I wonder if ours is a different species.
Nice photo. Lost a bit of detail in the white feathering. Good and sharp with a nice catchlight.
