[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Yesterday,it was a sunny day overhere,the sky was blue and the snow has dissapeared for the most,I tried to spot the woody again and make some better shots,I was lucky and found him again,as he was not affraid,he was just doing his things,I managed to make lots of pictures,here the first one,hope you like it.

I think was about 8 to 10 meters from the woodpecker

Nice photo Paul. Good background, it really puts the focus of the Woodpecker into perspective. That woodpecker must have worked hard to get through that tree, lol.

great shot - the bg really emphasises the woodpecker and the tree stump really helps to give a size to this very small woodpecker.

It is not one I have been fortunate enough to see in the wild, so TFS
