|The Wolverine (Gulo gulo) is a bear-like and the biggest member of the mustelid family. It lives in the boreal forests, subarctic and arctic tundra of the northern hemisphere. This marten can catch prey up to moose deer. Tis species is partly endangered because of the fragmented habitat. In Europe exist a breeding progamme for the wolverine managed by Helsinki zoo. |
