Heron in the Stockholm area in Sweden. Is not so common as I understand it, is usually normal by the few who remain in Sweden, stick to the southern parts of Sweden, during the winter.1/320s f/9 iso 800

Hi Anders,
I was pleasantly surprised to see your critique on my last photo. I hope you are doing well. I can still remember your wonderful mist photos you posted when you joined TN. They are still favorites of mine.
This really is a super sharp image of this Heron captured in a nice in-flight moment.
I read from your notes that the Herons are becoming even more lazy. In the past Herons would migrate to Africa, but slowly more and more Herons are staying in larger cities in our country. Now it seems they are even staying much more north. This is bad for the species since the weaker birds are now also able to survive which in place weakens the entire species.
