October is not a nice time for the elks in the Swedish forests. Thats when the elkhunting is starting. (September in the northern part of the country) About 100000 elks are shot every year in Sweden during the hunting season. But I´m only shoot them with my camera:-)

Hello Peter,
This is a very special shot. I like the autumnal atmosphere you caught in this picture a lot. Interesting also to see that the elk is willing to disappear betweeen the birches. That's nature pure.

Beautiful shot. I love the fact that the legs match the trees fairly well. It's nice to see you hunting with a camera. I find it's more of a challenge myself what with the camera having more settings than a gun. Plus you get more shots in. LOL Nice shot.

great action shot with good compo and lovely colours, nice posture of the elk.
imho the only problem is that the elk is running away from the photographer instead of coming into the image, but that is how it mostly goes

in my life i saw 2 Mooses (elks in Canada) the first time
it was running and it was like a earth earthquake !
