Well this is an interesting one...the anthropomorphic way of seeing a smile, i shud learn that , there are so mnay of those little squirels here scampering on trees and and the ground,i wud then what is it going thru..wow...
A shot with lovely colours lighting.Its skin seem to be gleeming in the nice sunshine.The busy tail spread at the back is nicely kept in frame.A really cute "red smiley" shot.

That is one promise you don't have to keep. Not if you see another one like this. The expression is priceless. I love that look on his face and the position of the ears. The pose is wonderful. There is that silly looking squirrel again. First time I saw it was a image by jeest and I thought it was peculiar then..and still do. It is almost as if when God created these, it was a last minute thought and he threw in some spare ears from another creature he was planning...I could go on..but it is odd...VERY good colourings in this one Ivan. you are a master knower of natural world..and pretty darn goop photographer as well,..

Outstanding image of the beautiful (may be the best) specimen of the squirrel (or may be the best shot of the squirrel). Splendid colours, marvelous sharpness and details of the tiniest features. Pose of the animal is sweet as well as the wonderful blurred BG and crisp sharp small areas of the FG. Only one point is minor (it seems to me). It is horizontal orientation of the image. May be I am wrong. In any case shot is extraordinary by subject and by quality. Bravo and congratulations.

Well, this image begs for posting Ivan, another of your series of perfect tele-macro captures executed brilliantly from a looow POV (you were laying down on the ground face down, I think). Sorry i haven't had any time for TN recently and i only found a small break today to attend to some of the superb posts i missed lately...

I couldn't overlook this one even i wanted to :) It's just too great!
The love the details you managed to get here as well as the fantastic pose from this little fellow. He looks adorable!
The very low POV is also exceptional and it also allowed you a very nice and even BG.
The very shallow DOF you chose here is terrific - i wouldn't have thought that an f/5.6 would be enough to keep so much in focus, but you did great to take that chance here and the result is great - with also that very nice bokeh in the BG (as i said before).
The natural light on your subject is lovely, too, and it brings out the best in all those colors...what more to add? A splendid shot in all aspects!
