Hallo Paul,
Goede foto van deze Boomklever. De flits werkt inderdaad erg goed. Zeker op de vogel. De sneeuw kan nog net. Schitterende details en kleuren en een uitstekende compositie. Mooi contrasterende achtergrond.
Er blijft niet veel aan natuurfotografen over. Trieste boel. Voor mij een beetje overdreven allemaal. Je weet dat als je op een openbare site foto's plaatst je een risico loopt. Zelfs van stelen en daarna doorverkoop. Natuurlijk is dit niet goed te praten, maar de reacties zijn wel erg heftig, vind ik.

Hej Paul,
you handle the fill-flash in a very nice way, the natural light
is still the main light without any hard shadows and contrast,
of course the snow helps a lot.
Well composed with a nice POV, fine details and natural colours.

Merhaba Paul,
Çok güzel bir sıvacı karesi sunmuşsun. Bu kuşların klasik pozu bu olsa gerek. Hemen her yerden buna benzer çekilmiş kareler gönderiliyor. Bu da çok başarılı bir çalışma olmuş.

Very good close-up, details are super sharp and seed in his bill add charm. If Nuthatch didn't drop seed so surely you didn't scare him.

Hi Paul. I do have a flash but have not got round to using it yet i must try it more. This is a fine picture of the Nithatch with its seed. You have taken it with good detail and colours. I like the POV and DOF. well done TFS.

I shall tell you I saw this much earlier and made mental note...so much that I thought I had already made comments on it...but let me tell you, and myself..I furgot!:-) I wonder..if you are left handed..just a guess....but a super image and well seen in diagonal way yes? the semi-cloudy day led you to have some good contrast and brings out much more in the patterns in the feather which might not have happened in full on sun!
