A very good picture of Hagtornsfjärilen, it's well exposed with nice and natural colours.

Hi Ivan,
another of your excellent pictures where you could (if you had to) count all the scales, so precise it is. I have never seen this species in my area and from looking at your picture I have the inkling that it prefers really warm and dry spots (where Echium grows e.g.).

Hi Ivan. This Black-veined White seems to stand out so well from the rest of the picture. I think its the DOF. The markng on the wing show up so well. You have taken them with sharp focusing and fine detail. With nice natural colours in theflowers. well taken TFS.

Hello Ivan,
A very beautiful color-combination created by the white Aporia on the blue Echium vulgare. The butterfly made a wonderful choice for the photographer! The green/grey background adds to the harmony of the shot. The sun must have been very strong that day, but you perfectely managed the white color. Fine and subtle shot, which reminds me one of Ulla's picture.

Fantastic shot. I have never seen these species in nature. Exposure, composition, blured background - everything looks great. There is only a little noise close to the edges of wings, antennas and plant - it is easy to remove on this picture
