A rare visitor
As I said to Ivan earlier and I want to repeat myself: I noticed that you where gone, and it is remarkable how quick one can pick up if somebody that is always "there" disappear for a few days. I am glad to see you back. My compliments to a most beautiful photograph of this dainty bird. What a delightful view. The details of this Red-flanked Bluetail with its delicate features are indeed a sheer pleasure to look at. Everything comes across so beautifully but what I like the most is the white circle around the bird's eye. Thanks for sharing. Kind regards.

It's so nice to see this little bird again. He looks so cute peeking through the bare branches. A fine view of his beautiful eye and cute little beak. The lovely plumage looks so pretty and soft. I'm so glad you and Ivan were able not only to see this rarity but also that you both got nice shots of him.

A very natural environment for this rare visitor, which I never have seen in real. I looked for some pictures of this bird and it seems to have a very blue plumage on its back. It is true that in its shape it reminds the Robin. You must have been very excited to see them!
Thanks for the interesting posting.
Have a nice day
