Thanks for the nice words of my previous post, more than a month ago.
This is a quite rare butterfly up here but we can find it in small numbers every year in my area.
Hope you like this blue beauty.

Not much info, but the is from Wikipedia.

The Silvery Argus (Aricia nicias) is a butterfly of the Lycaenidae family. It is found in the Alps, Pyrenees and from Scandinavia ranging to Siberia and the north of Mongolia.

The wingspan is 25–28 mm. The butterfly flies from May to August depending on the location.

The larvae feed on Geranium species.

First of all I am amazed with subject and sweet composition of the image. They are simply wonderful. Second is great DOF and terrific details of the ear and beautiful small butterfly.
