Brenthis ino is smaller than Brenthis daphne and is also less common. It is found especially at altitude.

Hello Anne,
From a Titania's Fritillary to this little beauty, it seems the butterflies have been keeping you quite busy. An attractive close-up shot with a nice clean BG.
Not only is the butterfly very pretty, but the flower head is interesting and eye catching also. I love the way the tiny petals are outlined in what appears to be either deep purple or black.

Salut Anne,tu as perdu beaucoup des details a cause de cette demi-ouverte position de ailes,mais je comprend ce qui est tombe',tu as choisi le focus sur la tete et ici la nettete' est parfaicte,une espece jamais vue chez moi.Bon Dimanche et merci,Luciano

bonjour Anne,
cette prise est artistiquement particulièrment bien travaillée .. l'arrière plan vert pastel renforce bien la présentation de l'objet, et la plante qui sert de perche au ppion affiche des détails raffinés séduisants. Quant au ppion, il est d'une pure bauté et se pose merveilleusement. Très belle photo ..

ganz wunderbare Präsentation von Brenthis ino.
Pose, Fokus, Schärfentiefe, Licht, die Komposition: erstklassig.
Grafisch sehr reizvoll auch die scharfen dunklen Ränder der Doldenblüte vor dem von weichem Licht durchfluteten Hintergrund. Sie geben ein schönes Gegengewicht zu dem hier sehr gross ins Bild gesetzten Falter, der sich fast schwerelos auf der Blüte niedergelassen zu haben scheint.
