It's no need to present again the wonderful Large White (Pieris brassicae)which appears quite numerous at the moment in my area.This one had chosen to land on a dendelion on which it stayed quite a long time. It is a common butterfly which we can find all over Europe. But by its size and the elegant way to fly, it is a very remarkable insect.

Hi Ann. This is a very good shot of the White Butterfly. fine detail and colours. with sharp focus.it stand out well against the yellow flower. A nice POV and DOF. very well done TFS.

Hi Anne.
Beautiful capture of this large white with perfect sharp details on butterfly.Great exposure with amazing colors and nice combination white/yellow.Very good low POV and pretty dark blurred BG.Composition is little not balanced(IMHO),little tight on right side.However it is great your macro work.

I like so much the clear and sharp details got on the butterfly, specially the shadows projected by the ribbings on its wings.
It's very good the contrast made by the vivid yellow and the dark green at the background.

Hi Anne.
You are right. Your Large White is wonderful also as well as your picture of this beautiful scene. The best scene for butterfly shooting: alone flower and nice butterfly on it and horizontal (low POV). Great image. Reproduction of the insect is perfect. Colour palette is charming, DOF is excellent. Bravo. Superb done.

la pieride n'est pas la plus facile a prendre en photo a cause du blanc qui cause souvent de soucis de surexposition mais la pas de probleme l'exposition est parfaite.
