Bellissima macro, molto bello il taglio compositivo con il rametto inclinato e l'insetto centrale con un marcato effetto tridimensionale, ottima nitidezza, splendidi i colori e BG. Grazie e complimenti. Ciao Maurizio

Hi Anne

A lovely shot of this little stink bug. Looking at your photo suddenly caused a flash of memory from my childhood days. For a moment there I was young and running in the countryside with effortless ease and an abundance of energy and I could actually smell the scent of this insect. Then "pop" there went the memory and here I was, sitting in front of the PC, staring at your photo all big-eyed and appreciatively. The moment was so real that I got carried away, so thanks for that moment of pleasure this posting provided me.

The range of the DOF attained from the wide aperture at f/10 ensured good details and you managed the late afternoon lighting very well.

Good work and TFS.
Regards
Loot

It is a pleasure to go back to your image missed ealier, Anne.
This Shield Bug has a nice colour combination on its back and you have captured it very well.
I like the way the green branch and the subject sitting on it are well separated from the plain BG.
TFS and regards.
