Mosaic made with Flysch
Colors, patterns and geology ;-) Great photo. Yellow, orange, grey, different light on the left and different on the right side. Also great texture. Simple but perfect. Art and nature
I like it very much

You amaze us with this totally unconventional subject for photography, Marcus.
And what an amazing image you have captured here! The mosaic of crumbling stones is so very attractive and artistic. No wonder your wife preferred to hang it on the wall of your house.
This picture is, indeed, a masterpiece and stands apart for its originality and unsurpassable beauty.
TFS and regards.

Was will man mehr?
A schöne Tag no und liäbi Grüess

Another artistic image with such variety of colours, details and forms. Looks so pleasant to the eyes. You really have created a niche for yourself and I for one is enjoying each and everyone of them. Very neat and sharp with beautiful lighting. Thanks for sharing this fine image.

Your wife and you are right. It is wonderful decoration of the living room and out TN gallery. Nature pattern is always the best. And you managed to reflect colour palette, texture, shapes and sizes greatly. So refined, nice abstract work. Bravo.

Hi Markus. I see a jigsaw being made in your picture , with a pile of pieces to do and some you have already done. You will think i am mad . I would have seen this on the coast of Southern England but never taken a picture . fine colours and shapes. TFS.

Here we see another fine image of the Flysch! a true beauty of nature of it's own!
good colour contrast on the grey and the brighter ones!
makes a fine decoration on the wall as well
many thanks for the sharing
Although I liked the Delicate Arch I say you should keep posting flysch photos!
This is one I'd gladly hang on the wall too, I think this is the best one of the series! It looks like a puzzle unsolved, a very colorful one. The left side with the different patterns get the image balanced.
Now I have to add one more of your photos to my favorites :)

A nice capture of this beautifully composed art of nature. Very well seen and well captured with a nice view. Thanks a lot for sharing.
Merci!
an excellent capture with great artistic value. very well done. tfs.
just want to say Hi before I take a half-year break from TN. many thanks for the encouragement, pointers and insightful notes all along. i have had a great time at TN. But I guess it's time for me to stay focused on my study and the Final Exam, which is just less than 5 months away.
take care, my respected TN friend. I will certainly miss you and other photography mentors here.

Certainly this is a studio about patterns, sizes, forms, textures and colours.
So what else can be asked for?
I like the proposed framing, with both sides of warm and neutral hues on the small pieces.
Just wondering how it looks like when it becomes wet.
A very special picture which I thank to you for share with us.

I'd love to see this blown-up on your wall!! I wonder what size it would be? It is a very beautiful pattern in wonderful natural earthy colours. I often intend to look more for patterns in nature but there is so much to look out for so I get lost! Easier in the autumn when the insects are gone and the birds are quieter! Many thanks for sharing this!
Kind regards, Ulla

Another impressive abstract from you, my dear friend!
I'm happy that you have not been corrupted in any way and that you still keep your very original approach to nature photography. For me, it's a constant source of inspiration!
This photo here is absolutely amazing in textures and geometrical shapes. Add to that a soft but evident color graduation and you've got a splendid mosaic, indeed.
BRAVO and TFS

The last time we wrote about the use of the grad ND filter. This just looks like a grad ND filter. The subtle transition of the grey sandstone to the more brown tone is as a ND grad would look like. But here its all nature and that's what makes it stunning. I love all the different shapes and details in this photo and how you can see that it consist out of many different layers.
