This is truly a panorama...no second guessing on that...What a wonderful sight full of life and action...while latent energy in the photo, one can feel the kinetic energy laying beyond...It is simply gorgeous Markus!

Hi Markus. Excellent stitching of 8 images in keeping the view intact as compared to super wide optics. Amazing sharpness and details showed us the beauty of the software available today. I like the undulating foreground with layers of autumn glory and the mountains in the backdrop are real stunner. Well done and thanks for sharing this in TN. Very good note too complementing this scenic image. Regards. Jusni

This is a wonderful landscape only I wish I could see it 'Large'. Perhaps that's not possible when you 'glue' images together. Joe is good at fixing large panoramas, I never remember how to do it! Even so it is a great image of a wonderful Alpine landscape with a blue sky and in lovely autumn colours.
TFS and have a nice weekend! Ulla

That's a beautiful photo with an amazing scenery and DOF. I agree with Ulla that you should have posted the larger version... Would love to see that
All the best,

An awesome view. This is how a panorama of a mountain view should look like. A bit of snow on top of the mountains, the colored leaves below and a splash of water at the bottom. You even got a good composition, which is a difficult thing to do.
I think your new software did a good job. It looks as if all is straight and there are no seems visible. I know that you do not like to post a LP version and won't ask for it. I love the clarity and the effect of the sun on the sky. I do find that bird(?) on the right a bit distracting.

I have to congratulate you on this great panoramic view. A wonderful effort for your first attempt. As Eric Morecambe would say, 'I can't see the joint!'
Beautifull rugged scenery captured with a good dof.

This is a lovely panoramic Markus. I think it is a very successful endeavor. The subject is perfect and the composition was well planned in advance. It is nice to learn that such a pretty place is protected.

Very impressive first attempt to get panoramic picture. You are right. Subject is very suitable for this purpose. Pictured scene is amazing and quilt of the picture is excellent. However, it would be better to load large, panoramic, version of the image. I do not know how to do this but many TN members did it. My best regards and compliments.

A splendid idea to try such big panoramas...the Swiss Alps are perhaps made for such photos and i certainly hope to see more from you :)
Your new software seems to be working very nice; i don't see and trace of the stitching and the exposure is very even throughout the entire width of the frame.
I also use a small software for such shots - Arcsoft Panorama-maker - and, too, think that this type of shots are very cool :)
Here you have a beautiful setting, with the lovely trees in the lower part, colored so nicely by the season, and the big, impressive mountains behind them, that really command respect.
You did good to add a bit of saturation...the photo looks great like this.
Bravo and TFS

Tu me donnes des idées, me manquent les Alpes suisses!

The land is very pretty, I think I could spend a lot of time there just walking around...
And you did a great job on representing it a panorama. For a first try it is unbelievable, the stitching seems so perfect. Good idea to take the frames in vertical, it makes less barrel distortion on the sides to make them fit better when stitching. Although it would be nice to see it in a large post to see more details.
Mountains like this cannot be found here in Hungary so for me it's always a pleasure to see them. Hope I'll be able to go out and take pictures of our mountains again soon that I can post too.

a great landscape with very beautiful autumnal colors and light that render details indeed the photo. The Swiss is one of my preferred countries and every time you succeed perfectly to portrait it in the better point of view.
