Hi all!

I can't help coming back to what I like most: forms, shapes and lines of any kind in ice or rocks. I only regret that I don't have more time and that I have to work...

These strange icy eyes here were looking at me when I "crawled" through the bed of the river Ärgera in the Plasselbschlund, not far from my home. It was late November, we had the first deep cold and I didn't want to miss the first magnificent drawings and paintings that my favourite artist, the nature, had prepared for me. The yellowish colour comes from the stones that are made of Flysch and that are partially covered with mud and algae.

Kind regards

Hello Markus,
As long as the quality of your posts would be as this one, you can't help as much as you want.
What a good eye to find the proper and ideal framing for these nature patterns.
I like so much the transparencies, subtle hues and forms.
My compliments and thanks for share.

Hello Markus !
Again you show us this kind of photography I like so much - forms, shapes and lines of ice ! :-) Nature is the most talented of all artists, creating wonderful masterpieces, and you perfectly reproduced this beauty on your photography. I love the soft and round abstract shapes, here. A real pleasure for the eye. Very well done !

Heavenly! Seriously superior. It works for me...what a wonder nature is...

Hola amigo,
I admire your ability to observe in nature ...
these days is not very common
great and original work,

Hallo Markus
I also do not want to work, but unfortunately we all have to unless we are on pension and I am still too young for that. Now what do we have here? Such a delightful sight of these strange eyes captured in the unique Markus style of photography. A great artistic and creative image, which let the mind wander far places. Looking past the two eyes, I see hundreds of fine tracks on the glass surface. It could easily have been a snail crawling on the surface leaving its marks. But then again, how would a poor survive in that freezing temperatures? Now what about the piece on the right hand side of the frame? That looks like the glass they use in showers to keep the peeping eyes from looking inside, makes you wonder what is hidden behind it. But then again who would want to shower in the middle in winter? Or maybe it could be an artist that used a sharp object to carve fine and delicate lines and textures, in creating a new piece of artwork. Na, it can only be a fine piece of abstract photographic art at its best, by our own artist Markus. Thanks for sharing.
Best regards

Lieber Markus,

Complimenti. TFS.
Buon week end.

Ciao Markus, fantastic abstract by nature, splendid composition with wonderful light and colors, very well done, have a good week end, ciao Silvio

Hello Markus,
We should always be true to ourselves but if we did what everyone else did then the world would be a less exciting place!
This is another one of you unique and attractive captures! The clear 'windows' in the ice have wonderful shapes, to be admired as a work of art but nature is not the artist: it is the person who first notices and captures the beauty who is the artist!
Thanks and have a good weekend,

Une belle perception du détail spectaculaire.
Bonne journée.

Hi Markus,
You really have the eye to capture original texture nature’s infinite number of forms! This is very interesting and agreeable to look at. I wish I had your talent to perceive and share things like you do... Thanks,

Hi Markus,
I dont really know what to say..it is a beauty. YES. What attract me in the first instance is its delicateness. Also, your shot managed to show it objectively and clearly, the natural occurance of the ice.
The most noticeable of all, it is different ftom others and you highlight peculiar type of art that brings joy and deep appreciation in our existence towards nature and in my case it the appreciation of the created to the Creator.
Wonderful presentation and it is well seen.

Ciao Markus. Dettaglio e texture perfetti con grande DOF.

Markus, your gifted eyes are richly endowed with the power to "see" beyond the apparent and the manifest.
This remarkable picture of quaint 'eyes' formed by the ice as well as those magnificent images of rocks you have regaled us with already prove my point.
This image of icy eyes is technically faultless.
I also wish to thank you for your kind words on my completion of 3 years on TN.
Best regards,

I do love the beauty here - yet, if I'd seen it myself I most probably wouldn't have stopped and looked at it.
You have a good gift there Markus - you see beauty in the extraordinary.
Yes, very strange eyes - well 'seen' and captured for us to finally open our eyes and 'see' as well.

Hi Markus.

Forms, shapes and lines are well seen and that's the reason for your liking. Very artistic image well seen and registered in flawless framing. So beautiful and rather graphical in presentation and I like it.

Well done!

Hi Markus.
I am impressed with your talent to see beauties around you and reflect them at terrific pictures. Fantastic pattern created by Nature, amazing colouration of the ice composition and brilliant reproduction of the subject. All is the best. My congratulations. Bravo.
