Hi Markus. My daughter was only saying last week we have not the man from Switzerland and here you are. Good to see you back. Congrats on the new camera have heard good reports about it. This is your trade mark type of picture we have missed. The sort of thing i would not notice. You have captured the beautiful shapes and patterns in the rocks , with the natural colours. I am looking forward to your snow pictures, TFS.

Good to see you back after all these months. Congratulations with your new camera. Wonderful and very pleasing 'heaven' photo. I like the choice of composition and the light in this photo. The white lines are very special and also beautiful. Great patterns.

"Glad to have you back"! Dein Bild ist Kunst. Raffiniert: die bleiche Sonne bringt scheinbar Bewegung und Farbe. Ich reagiere auf das Bild wie ein gestandener Naturwissenschaftler: das Gestein muss bei seiner Entstehung durch Sedimentierung, Verschiebung, Faltung, Versenkung, Brechung, Erosion wohl auch noch gut gekocht worden sein, sonst wären die feinen Quarzbänder nicht zu verstehen. Aber wieso diese kreuz und quer stehen, mysteriös... Der Flysch hat wieder einmal etwas fürs Auge geboten.

PS: ich war mit dem Plastiktruckli und dem Velo im Plasselbschlund unterwegs. Der Schlund ist nach dem Regen (und typisch für die Flysch-Unterlage) schön sumpfig geworden, ich musste zuhause das Velo und mich selber mit dem Schlauch abspritzen.

So nice to see you back here, old friend! I see you've been traveling and i hope you also took a lot of photos during your treks so that we can see them now :)
I've been quite busy as well. I managed to take some trips during the summer and early autumn so i still have many photos to share here until my archive for this year runs dry ;)

This is a typical shot for you and one i've come to miss around here.
The way you can concentrate such great textures into a single frame and compose around the natural lines is excellent! Here the zig-zag of the straight white lines is initially dominant, but at a closer look i see the beautiful layers of the bigger rocks...so plenty of little details to retain the attention of the viewer :)
Congratulations for both the diaporama festival and for the new camera! I trust it will bring us some super shots in your hands :)

As for this shot it is exciting to note the natural formation of layers and lines.
it is really interesting to discover the geological formation as such.
I must also say that how much I like the way you venture in the rivers and rocks.

Ich verstehe jetzt auch Deinen Enthusiasmus. Die Bildschärfe ist vom Besten und die Farben natürlich. Die Bildgestaltung, wie immer perfekt. Einfach schön!

I missed all the nature shots from you that turned mundane daily life creations into something very graphical. Not that you have been away, it is the other way around - since I was away from TN for a very long time. Congratulations on the new baby and this image is another superb creation crafted by your brilliance. Thanks for sharing and best regards.

p/s: had the same feeling while looking for smaller alternative and small plastics don't feel good in our hand. I ended up with Canon Powershot G7 with metal body and felt like classic film RF in my hand. G11 will be out soon and you can check that out.

nous aussi, on est content de te revoir, avec une photo csuperbe comme on les aime avec les détails de la nature qui pour la plupart passe inaperçus
j'aime bien les formes géographiques et les traits continuent d'une pierre à l'autre, la lumière et la netteté sont excellents aussi
