Hello Markus,
A very beautiful and interesting ice study where you can clearly see the two layers of thin ice. A very fine composition in lovely colours. No ice visible here in Sweden, only lots of snow!

A nice image in 3-D presentation Markus, the subjective image forms an interesting pattern and good overall composition with fine colour balance. You can easily name a new Amoeba species here!

Hello Markus,
The effects of changes in temperature can both dramatic and interesting and its effects on water are new experiences, sometimes previously unseen
So I thank you for sharing this 3-D effect that I have never seen before, the fluid water acting like a lens on the ice and well captured with your camera lens with fine focusing in a difficult situation.
With kind regards,
Ivan

Hello Markus,
The 3D effect is very evident in this perfectly exposed image. It's funny how your photos have changed my view on things. The last two days when I left work my truck was covered with a thin layer of ice. I caught myself searching for unusual creatures instead of just scraping it off as I usually would do. I hope none of my co-workers saw me intensely studying my windshield while sitting in the parking lot.

Lieber Markus,
Anne

Hi Markus,
Whatever the reason, it is a really nice image that show the beautiful thing nature can creates, a work of art by freezing water. I like the abstraction of the image my by natural element. Great clarity, good sharpness and good composition. I like it.

Hi Markus,
Your eye for details in nature is very special. Most people, including me, would not have paid this much attention of what is close to our feet. You open a new world for many of us.
The clarity of the ice and shapes in them is beautiful. But what really atracks my eyes in the color contrast between the OOF rocks and the reflected sky in the ice.
TFS,
Niek

Hallo Markus,
Beautiful and quite exclusive shot, very interesting. As Niek said, You have eyes for details of nature. This is simply Art of Glass (or Ice), a fantastic, clear capture of a rarely seen phenomenon. The least I can do is giving a little green star to it.
Question: do You like real 3D (anaglyphe) photography, and if so, do You used to make such pics? I mean this type. I thought it because I'd love to see Your scene in this form, too.
Tfs, best regards, László

Hello Markus !
All of your winter and ice pictures are amazing, but this one is my favourite, because of that "3D effect" you mention. Rally a strange feeling to look at this ice formation. I also like the shapes and the colors, it's a real piece of art. Vry well don !
Valérie.

Hi Markus.
You are very creative with nature's artwork. A new standard that is tough to follow in TN. This shot is just amazing and you have composed it so well like a painter and a canvas.
Pleasing tone and harmonious colors.
I like it and best regards.

A new life form discovered in Switzerland!
Well, at least it resembles a water-borne unicellular life-form I used to see in my microscope.
