Hi Markus,
This is breathtaking. All the details on the ice surface (and below), and everything else is absolutely on top quality. Above all, a beautiful dedication to Saeed, although I still don't know why this pic is associated with freedom anyhow. For me it seems just the opposite. But of course it doesn't effect the quality of the image at all.

Hello Markus,
For me it is unusual to see such icy pictures as we don't have the kind of water to form such views and everything is covered with snow.
Once again you have created a fine image based on ice and the richness of patterns that its formation produces as here together with a twig frozen in.
I fully agree with you in your sentiments about our friend Saeed and the plight of his fellow citizens. Let us hope that the restrictions imposed by his country will one day melt away like this ice will and free the twig of human rights!

Lieber Markus,
Dieses so symbolische Bild wird Saeed sicher freuen, da seine eigene Vorstellung von "Freiheit" hier nicht gewürdigt wurde. Vielleicht ist es auch besser so, zum Schutz unseres Fotografen.
Farblich subtiles Bild, sehr künstlericher Aufbau und so fein suggestiv..auch schön der goldene Glanz hinter dem Eis, sind doch echte Schätze eben oft verborgen .
