Hi all!

I promise... this should be the last icy picture of the season. I imagine that you are getting tired of this subject.

When I discovered this little surface it remembered me Red Indian art or some other kind of indigenous art of North or even South America. I hesitated to post this picture because it only gets its full expression at a bigger size. I nevertheless hope it will please you.

Kind regards

Markus

Ciao Markus,

Anne

Hi Markus. My friend one day not to soon i hope work will be over and i will have more time for fun things. Your ice picture could go on all year round if posible . As i have said before you have eyes that see things i would walk stright by. Only nature in all its glory could have made the paterns in todays picture. with the different shades of brown. well taken TFs.
Nick..

Bonsoir Markus,
Alors tu vas quitter l'hiver?
Bonne nuit!

Hello Markus,
I must say it's been a real treat viewing your many wonderful images hidden in the river bottom. As warmer weather nears you will undoubtedly have many more interesting photos to share with us in the coming months.
I will surely miss all the strange and interesting creatures you discovered, but I'm sure they will return once more for their annual winter migration.
I can definitely see why this particular image reminded you of Indian Art, as I see an animal in the upper right hand corner which looks something like a horse.
Thanks Again,
Ron

Hi Marcus.
You are wrong. We have not tired of your ice masterpieces especially because of absence ours. Ice pattern of the shot is really fantastic and rich of content. There is a lot of place for fantasy. Thanks a lot and best wishes.
Alexei.

Hello Markus,
You know my opinion about this kind of photos. I like them very much. And I think this is one of your best. The change of the light in the lower parts to the dark in the higher parts works fantastic here. Superb composition. A pity that this is your last.
Don't have much time these days. Busy at work, my birthday and a new computer are the cause.
Regards,
Peter

ciao Markus!
you amaze me your ability to read these boards that nature has packed .. as had happened to the elephants, even in this work I see, as you wrote in the note, traces of Native Americans as facial profiles of redskins...thanks!
ciao sERGIO

Hy Markus
As ussualy, a very artistic image from you: the ice seems so thin and fragile, maybe also promising to you that will be the last picture from this season! Spring is comming MF and I am waiting for spectacular pictures from you !

All the best

Hi Markus,

I, for one, am sorry that this is the finale of your ice series. But I'm sure there will be more next winter! This one looks like a wonderful collage of glass with its shapes and textures. Just beautiful and the vertical composition is marvelous.

Jane

Hi Markus,

I do not bore the subject you can sure that! Nice to follow the Nature Mother from your lens evertime MF! This one is not exceptional! Great work!
TFS and have a nice week MF!
Cheers,

Bayram

Hi Markus
Your icy portrait reminds me of a painting done by Pablo Picasso. I love the colours, lines and textures. Again mother nature has shown us her beautiful side.
TFS Janice
PS you're correct about using a macro...I have so many things I want to see up close...stay tuned.

Hello Markus! What a great shot you've done once again I love your style! A feast to the eyes, very well seen and technically very good, thanks!

Mario

Hi dear Markus,
Again another nice your icy series.
This is lovely too.
Nice colours with great contrast.
TFS

Best wishes
Saeed

I've always maintained that your shots cannot be work, they're passion and emotion and a lot of other things.
I refuse to say anything about this shot, it would be, as we say in India, showing lamp-light to the Sun.
Respect, my friend!
Goldy

Hi Markus,
Last for the season... but good to see something different now, in summer. As always, You created something from nothing. Fabolous textures.
Tfs, best regards, László
