Beautiful and sharp detail captured on this Satyrus ferula. Colours display beautifully against the grasses as your backdrop. Its body fascinate me as it reminds me of the white-ant's body. I also like the golden markings on the wings and it almost looks as if lights are shining in from behind. A great macro which is presented in a lovely manner. Thanks for sharing. Best regards.

Lieber peter,
Von grosser Schlichtheit und Feinheit ist dieses Bild! Da hat sich ein Schmetterling wieder von seiner besten Seite gezeigt und Du hast es perfekt übertragen. Mir gefallen speziell das Zusammenspiel der Farben. Ich konnte Satyrus ferula nie mit ganz geöffneten Flügeln sehen, eher mit geschlossenen, wie auf meinem letzten Bild. Aber eindrücklich sind sie diese Schmetterlinge!
