Not the easiest thing to keep in focus the entire butterfly from this angle and in the same time to maintain a pleasant depth of field dear Anne, but you did it well here. How are you my friend ?

Hello Anne,
Some very aggressive noise reduction I think. But the rest is a picture with very interesting POV and BG amazing. However, I recommend avoiding the filters affect the area of the butterfly, because it makes lose valuable details.

I usually select the area of the butterfly (I edit with GIMP) and then invert the selection, then I use any of the filters.

Hope this tip can be useful! ... Greetings and thanks for sharing!

Lovely photo against a good background. Like the ghostly flowers in the background. regards yiannis

Hello Anne,
I am running out of adjectives here tonight because each image that I open is more beautiful than the previous. First impression is the DOF with the whole butterfly in very sharp focus. Then the fabulous colours and textures. And then a BIG bonus here....the natural background very pleasantly OOF but very natural and very beautiful. Excellent composition. What a pleasure to view. Best wishes.
