This picture is dedicated to my friend Jesus "jlinaresp" from Venezuela, a keen and skillful photographer.

Again I show Melitaea didyma, but this time a frontal view from eye to eye.

Taken at the same place as described on my last two pictures.

Hello Peter,
Very impressive eye contact in this photo. The antennaes look like horns. Fantastic frontal point of view. Very beautiful colours, excellent sharpness and DOF.

A truly daring POV, Peter, and you have pulled it off very successfully. Many of us try it, but rarely get that kind of clarity. This is definitely looking eye-to-eye with a pretty butterfly.
