No, it's not a joke, Pinguicula alpina is a small carnivorous plant growing in the Alps. It has what is called a semi-active way of trapping insects. It has a sticky substance on the leaves where insects get simply caught and "digested". |

Très sympa cette p'tite plante. J'aime bien ses feuilles bien
grasses. Ca fait aussi un peu étoile de mer la forme. Bien vu!
