[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
On flying insects-13:
Here a Meadow Brown ( Maniola jurtina, Ochsenauge. Satyridae) is flying on its back ! This was not the result of a freak wind. The butterfly started this way from the underside of a flower. I noticed the same behaviour with other butterflies. "The underlying theme of TrekNature is learning more about the world through nature photography": while I am unable to improve the technique of shooting flying insects with the existing equipment, I am still surprised about some results. Enjoy!
Additional technical stuff: ISO 640, tele 370 mm eq. |
