[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The mighty Amanita Muscaria

Also know as Halogenic Musrhoom. Actually edible if prepared rightly, but dangerous and toxic for the uninitiated (not deadly though). Not for casual use of course, causes extremely potent, sometimes days long out of body, out of this world experiences, still used by some shamans and brave souls around the world. No wonder it is the archtype of mushrooms, it is the mushroom of fairy tales, children's drawings, etc. The Vedas, humanity's most ancient texts devote a lot of chapters to them.

I found this beauty in the backyard of my company

Wonderful capture of this colorful fungi. It is a fresh one too, but one I avoid when mushroom hunting!
