Procambarus clarkii is a freshwater crayfish species, native to the Southeastern United States, but found also on other continents. It is known variously as the red swamp crawfish, red swamp crayfish, Louisiana crawfish or Louisiana crayfish.

Wonderful colours... and a bit weird POV ..but I like it!

Hi Galyna, I presume these are in an Aquarium and not free to destroy your beautiful native ones. I think looking at their position I think they are possibly mating as all crayfish and lobster females carry their eges under the tail so the male would need to be in this position to fertilse them.
The centre of the image could do with the highlights from the flash being darkened a fraction and the outer part being lightened so the claws become more visible so I have atempted a WS to try and show this.
