Certainly because of the exceptional mild weather, everything seems to be different in this beginning of the year. So I had the surprise to find yesterday these flowers, just two minutes away from my house. Unfortunately I cannot identify them. We are still waiting on the snow and a little bit more cold. Would be better for nature.

They say the beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, and you have proved that right in this simple but appealing composition, Anne.
That you see the flowers still blooming in your country is the result of the freak weather behaviour this year, as all of us tend to think.
Warm regards.

Bonjour Anne,
Wonderful capture of these beautiful flowers!
I like a lot the simplicity of the picture, but it really stands up by their good POV and the way you managed to compose the picture.
Vibrant the contrast between the bright yellows and deep greens on the background.
Congratulations for the post, thanks for share and kind regards,

Hi Anne.
Nice composition and captured scene. I like your delicate lights and colours. DOF is shallow a bit. TFS and best regards.

Sorry, I have no time. I have just returned from short business trip and hasten for work.

Hi Anne,
The weahter is acting really strange this year. I just saw a photo of a family of geese with new young birds.

This is a wonderful photo with great shallow DOF and perfect details. The colors are beautiful. This has a kind if 3D effect.

:) tomorrow

Hola Anne,
Bonita y elegante composición con mucho detalle y colores naturales. Un saludo

Hello Anne
An interesting composition of this compositae one. In my country they say that "una flor no fa estiu", by a flower we cannot say that we are in summer.
Surely that arrives the snow.
Salutacions cordials.

Hi Anne.
Is that a really very unusual winter this year.Temperature outside circa +8 centigrade, nothing snow only always it is raining. But in the place where I live I am do not find in nature no plants with flowerage.
Your shot of this flower in januar is very unusual.I like very nice composition with pretty difuze lighting.Good focus and good managed DOF with perfect blurry background.
Very nice done this presentation.TFS
Best greetings Milos

Hallo Anne,
