Hi Anne.
BRAVO. What an elegant work. Amazing pictured scene. lighting and delicate colours. Transparence butterfly looks amazedly as well as the perfectly illuminated and coloured flower. BG is perfect at high range too. Its blurriness and colourfulness are simply wonderful. My compliments and TFS.

This is a beautiful capture of this nice white butterfly!
I like so much the POV used, and the transparencies got in the wings with the light.
Very good the soft and blurred backgrund.

erfreulich, wieder einen Deiner zarten Schweizer Gebirgsfalter zu sehen - hier im duftigen Gegenlicht, das die Zartheit und Duftigkeit unterstreicht. Du lässt Deinen Blüten und Faltern viel Raum, das schafft Atmosphäre.

Der Falter dürfte ein Weibchen der Sommergeneration von

Pieris napi f. napaeae /
Rapsweissling, Piéride du Navet, Navoncella

sein - aber auch Weisslinge sind schwierig zu bestimmen, nicht nur die Mohrenfalter :)

Je ne peux malheureusement pas aider avec l'identification car je ne connais pas assez les papillons. J'aime beaucoup cette composition, ces couleurs et cette bonne exposition. Le BG est superbe et convient parfaitement à ton beau petit modèle :-) J'aime beaucoup la lumière dans ses ailes, bravo!

Very fine capture of this Green-veined White on a Scabious in beautiful lighting which shows the texture of the wings very nicely. Sharp details and a very nice composition. The background is beautiful too!

Hello Anne,
Excellent lighting in this sharp capture of the female Green-veined White (P. napi), the second generation often lacking the yellow colouring on the underside of the hindwing, like this form. The scabious flower and th BG add to a fine well-composed presentation.

Beautiful capture of this White which Peter has identified for you.
The point of view is perfect and the wings have a kind of pleasant glow to them due to the angle of the light, I presume.
The details are sharp and clear.

J'aime beaucoup cette composition bien mise en valeur par la lumière latérale. Le papillon et la scabieuse sont bien mis en valuer par un arrière plan lumineux et doux. Bravo.

A very attractive presentation of this special form of P. napi (never heard of it myself!) with pleasantly contrasting colours of green, purple and white against the blurred out background! Thank you very much for this charming portrait of an unusual Green-veined White. I bet he got to kiss the pretty flower :-).
